About us

OUR STORY

Two centuries of British craft

Tillys began life in Portsmouth, UK, outfitting Royal Navy officers; the leap from tailoring to interiors came in the 1970s, when our expertise in custom fabric led naturally to soft‑furnishing hardware.

The ethos never changed: perfect fit, meticulous detailing, personal service. Today we’re still family‑run and still obsessed with the small things that make a room sing.

Local hands, lasting quality

Our team tracks every order from first spec through to delivery.

We liaise with architects, contractors, and suppliers to keep things on time, on budget, and aligned with the build schedule. If changes come up, we’re already on it.

On‑site machining, patination and assembly keep every stage under one roof
Small‑batch inspection means no piece leaves without a craftsman’s signature.
UK‑sourced brass, aluminium and FSC hardwood reduce transport miles and ensure traceability.
